How I beat by goal by more than 800%!

subject: How I beat by goal by more than 800%!

Wow!

I'm so grateful for the incredible amount of support and encouragement I've received in the last three days.

So many of you have let me know how many people you've passed the email about my book launch to.

Something dramatic happened that I just have to share...

I made a commitment to myself (and my coach) that I would get this book launch notice out to at least 1000 people.

I thought that was going to be a stretch for me because I only had about 580 people on my personal contact list.

... that meant I needed to find at least 420 people who I'm not currently in touch with.

So I asked for help and here's what happened...

Many of you sent my note along to 2, 3, 10, 20 people... in total, these 'small' drips added up to over 200 people.

One person responded and told me that they forwarded my note to 212 people.

If you're doing the math you'll notice at this point I'm just shy of my goal of 1000 names.

If you know me, you'll know that I'm a very emotional person... at this point I was feeling so overwhelmed with gratitude for this show of support that tears were welling up in my eyes.

Then my friend Seymour Segnit sent me a note and pushed me over the edge.

And then some.

You see, Seymour is President of a company called 'Change That's Right Now' - he specializes in helping people overcome their fears, phobia and anxiety.

Well, Seymour emailed me to let me know that he sent my note to his entire client list... he pushed me over the 1000 goal mark - by sending my message to over 7800
unique people in his database!

In total I reached a whopping 8685 people with my message.

That's 868.5% more than my goal.

You're probably wondering what the moral of the story is. Well, here's what I got out of it.

You can't always do everything you dream of by yourself. But when you set the intention, ask for help and let the Universe take care of the rest, you can achieve whatever you desire...

And there's a good chance you'll get even more than you ever expected.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who supported this.

Paul

My New Book!

I want to tell you about a new book that I have the privilege to be a co-author in.

The book is titled “101 Great Ways to Improve Your Life: Volume 3,” and it is a compilation of 101 articles with practical, solid advice on how you can finally take action and improve your life.

I am extremely excited to be a part of this, and am equally excited to be a contributing author along with Ken Blanchard, Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen, Byron Katie and many other leading Self Improvement experts.

This book was created by David Riklan, the president and founder of the #1 Self Improvement website in the world, SelfGrowth.com. He tapped into the minds of the greatest experts of our time and pulled together something that will blow you away.

It's a complete collection of 101 insider secrets that can show you how to instantly and positively improve your life!

This book is the third volume in the “101 Great Ways to Improve Your Life” Series.

For those of you that have not seen Volumes 1 & 2, David is also offering a special discount if you purchase the three volume set together.

Volumes 1& 2 include more great secrets from Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Jack Canfield, Dr. Richard Carlson and many other leading experts.

David has also bundled the book with life-enhancing tools! He calls them “bonus gifts,” and he has created a package of $1,500 worth of absolutely free gifts that you get by purchasing just one copy of our book.

These bonus gifts aren't the typical items you may have seen in other campaigns. That I can guarantee!

A contemplation of the future...

Hello Fiction Friday Readers:

I must admit, I've been a bit disappointed with the results of this experiment and my own commitment has waned. Only one person other than myself wrote an entry. I feel like I'm lost in cyberspace at the moment. I love to write, but I will move on to other things unless there is actually an interest or value in this particular project.

So what would you like me to do?

Please email me at fictionfriday@gmail.com to let me know that you want me to keep going. I promise not to add you to any lists.

If this project lives on, I may turn it into a newsletter format - I send out the topic for the week along with a sampling of last week's responses and a link to the full list of responses. But if that happens, I will only request inclusion via a new post and a sign-up form. I hate spam as much as you do, so feel free to email me and it will be our little secret.

Should you choose to let me know that you want this to continue, I'd also appreciate any other feedback you might have on how I could improve it. This is truly meant to be a collaborative effort.

My weekly statistics show that people ARE visiting, so to those of you who check regularly, I apologise for my reticence.

Be well,
Paul
